The past couple of years I have really taken a look at my life and found out what is really important to me.
The past year especially has been quite difficult. My mother has been fighting the fight of her life with her diagnosis of metastasized breast cancer. After receiving treatment and fighting the disease six years ago the invader came back only to take homage in her liver. She has been through rounds of chemo. Each one different in its own special way.
I cannot tell you how much I treasure my mother. This woman is full of fight. She has bad days, but she wakes up and says, "You know what?, Today I am gonna wrap my arms around you Cancer and take control of you!"
I am so proud that this woman is my mother. She has taught me what life is all about. She may be sick each and every day, but she tells me how proud she is of me and encourages me to live life to the fullest.
I ask that you all take a moment and pray for my mom. Ask God to keep look over her and help her to fight this disease that is attacking her body.
She is so beautiful and deserves the best in life!!!!! Alisa French, You are my hero!

Can do Amanda, and I will have her added to the prayer list at our church. You can never have to many people praying for you.
Your Mom is one of the good ones. She sure does not deserve this.
I have known Lisa, practically my entire life. Our families were once very close. I haven't seen her since I moved away from home, but memories of her and her family definitely come up from time to time. Lisa is a very strong, courageous and beautiful lady! Manda - you should absolutely be proud of your mother!
I will be praying for her...and will have others do the same.
I will pray for your you and your mom, Amanda! Let us know if there is ANYTHING we can do for you guys!
My prayers are with you. What a tribute to your mother.
My mom too has cancer. She is fighting lung cancer for the second time in as many years. It's all strange and scary at the same time.
Hugs along the way.
Thank all of you for your warm wishes, thoughts and prayers. It is great to know how many people really care! My mom also appreciates it as well. It means so much more than any of you could ever imagine!
Amanda
Just read what you wrote about your Mother, and I can't say enough on what a great writer you are. Yes she is a beautiful, wonderful person. We are so blessed having her in our family.
Our prayers are always with her.
