Milk....It Does a Body Good!!!!!

Boy oh Boy does this little man like his milk.
He likes it so much he digs the cartons out of the trash to play with them. Don't worry I had just thrown it away, and I cleaned it off so he could play with it.

He has so many toys, but he would rather play with an empty milk carton.

Beware of Dragons!!!

Nick got a new pair of house shoes today. We got him monkeys to begin with, but they didn't fit well. When we went back this was all they had left. He loves them. He has worn them all night long.
You should see him walk in them. He has even been trying to stomp his feet and dance with them on. It is hilarious. Maybe someday i will get the cord I need for my camcorder to download videos so you can see what he does.

Interesting

Not trying to be a scrooge, but caught a glimpse of a commercial this evening that just hit me the wrong way. I am not even sure what it was advertising, but a thump is heard at the door and an elderly lady answers. As she looks around music starts playing. ..Hark the Herald Angels I think. Anyway she looks over and children are waving from next door. A sweet gesture don't get me wrong, but isn't this why so many children in this country are overweight. How hard would it have been to walk next door and carol their neighbor. Maybe I am wrong. If so hopefully someone will put me in my place.

Crossin The Border

I was checking up on some blog action in my bedroom. (Which is where our computer is.) When I came out I found this. I knew he liked his sombrero and his boat, but never imagined he would put the two together. Kids are amazing.

Our Finished Christmas Tree

I am sure you are all just dying to see my Christmas tree. My mom asked me though to see the finished project. Nick loves it when we turn on the lights. I am really surprised he has not opened any of the presents under the tree yet.

Picture Session

I have seen a tremendous amount of Ambers work through her website. Too be quite honest, I check it daily. I finally was able to make the trip to Newton to have Nick's pictures taken today. I am so excited to get the proofs back....hope I can wait that long. Nick loved her and really wanted to play with RJ. I will let you all know when his pictures are up so you can see them.

Nicks Thanksgiving Day Garb

I wish you could see his shoes. They look like little brown sketchers.

Helping Da Da Put up the Tree

Ryan is normally not so into putting up Christmas decorations. This year however I think that a little man has helped to change his mind a little. Ryan was so happy to have Nick help him. What a BIG help he was as you can clearly see by the pictures.

Opening the box.
Nick really thinks he did this himself.

Putting the first part of the tree on.

Almost there.
Our finished product....well almost. Now we will see how big of a help he will be putting on the ornaments.

Thanksgiving With Ryan's Family

I now see that do not take enough pictures of everyone when there is a get together. I always have the best of intentions though. We went to Flora on Thanksgiving day to celebrate the holiday with Ryan's family. We had lots of tremendous food. I am still stuffed.
Bud and Mason. Watching football of course.

Aunt Pam and Nicklaus. Nick did not take a nap all day long. Let me tell you he slept forever once he finally fell asleep.

Thanksgiving in Kuwait

Aunt Judy thinks this kind of looks like a Hawaiian party. I think I agree.

I just wanted to share a few pictures of how our troops overseas get to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday. These are pictures sent of Ryan's cousins husband (boy that's a mouthful) Matt who is currently protecting our country. Thank you Matt and Happy Thanksgiving.

A New Seat

I didn't realize exactly how smart a 15 month old can be until I saw this. Nick acted like he was hungry so I made him a grilled cheese sandwich. Of course he did not want it so I sat it down on mom's table. A little while later he pulled this popcorn tin over to the table and made himself a little chair. What a little smarty pants.

An Early Thanksgiving

We went to my mom's over the weekend for Thanksgiving. A great time was had by all, but I do have to say I ate way too much. I am not sure if I will be able to eat for a few days. Last year mom was in bed all day so Amy and I cooked. This year she was adamant about being able to do the cooking. I sure hope she didn't get any hair in our food.

Nick ate two plates like this full of Thanksgiving goodness. Then he at pumpkin pie. I did not know that little tummies could take in so much.

Happy One Year Anniversary.....To Me!!!

I know our anniversary is not until tomorrow, but I didn't figure I would have much time to post this then. I thought some of you might enjoy a little recap of our wedding. It is so hard to believe we have been married for a year already.
I cant believe I actually made all the flowers for the wedding and reception. look at those shoes....sure wish I had an excuse to wear them again.
Almost time.

Sweet little face. Couldn't help but add this picture.

We finally did it!

Nick looks extremely shocked in this picture. I think we used this for a few of our Christmas cards last year.

Small wedding. Just the way we wanted it.

Just a Cute Pic

Do You Think They Look Alike?

Nick also had a visit from his Ma Maw and his cousin Gauge today. (We had to do a little Christmas shopping.) I cant believe how much Gauge looks like my brother.
But when I look at some of the pictures I take of these two silly boys together I cant help but notice how similar they look to each other.

They must get the good looks from me. Sorry Bubba, I still love you!!!

Visitors for the Little Man

Ryan's cousin Meredith came home for a few days this past weekend. Uncle David and Aunt Judy brought her over to catch the train to the airport so they stopped by our house on the way. Here is Nick with Aunt JuJu.
Nick with Meredith.

Nick with Uncle Day Day. I think almost every picture that I have of Nick and Uncle David looks like this. He sure loves to be on Uncle Davids shoulders.

Proud Parent Moment

I am not sure how many of you have seen this picture, but it is a proud parent moment for me. Last winter we took Nick to the Cardinals Winter Warm up and got to meet their pitcher Chris Carpenter. Mr. Carpenter held Nick and signed a ball for him that he had given him at a game earlier that year. I just LOVE this picture.

Driving????? OH MY!!!!!

Oh my the Zuber girls are on the roads so all you Newtonites better watch out.

Sure Hope Pa Pa Won't Be Mad!!!!

Last night when I was making supper, I noticed that Nick was really quiet. When I walked around the corner this is what i found. He had every single golf ball out that Bud owns. I wonder what Pa Pa will say when he comes home?! (Im sure we all know the answer to that one) If anyone needs any Christmas ideas I would think it is a safe bet to buy golf balls. The kids loves them.

A Natural

Nick and I went to visit Ryan at work yesterday. He got to go on a cart ride (which he loved). He really didn't want to get out.
This little boy seems to be a natural at golf. We sure hope so anyway. He has a big name to live up to. Nicklaus Tiger. Every time we go to see Ryan, Nick digs out the putter and the ball. Maybe we need to get a putter in his size to go with the other clubs he already has.
