Fun with Food

I had a Mary Kay party yesterday and really wanted to make some fun foods for my guests to enjoy. I love to cook and entertain. Here are a few of the appetizers I made.


Artichokes stuffed with bruchetta.

Pinot Noir Chocolate Truffle dip with fresh fruit


Bloody Mary tomatoes (Rachel actually made these)

Crab stuffed snow peas.

Rachel and I joke to each other about going into a catering business, but in a way I think it would be kind of fun.

Just looking at magazines or going to different resturaunts. My neighbor Rachel is also an inspiration.

Wow, next time you have a party...call me!! I will drive two hours for good food!

I assume that you do not eat the artichokes, how do you eat the stuff that is in them?

You can eat the artichokes, but only the bottoms of the leaves and the heart. I don't have to have a party for you to come over. Maybe I should have a get together for the Newton girls to come to STL and cook some food!
